Valjevo Borates
Valjevo Borates is a project of responsible and safe underground mining of sodium borate ore, located 15 km northeast of the city of Valjevo.
This area contains one of the three most significant sodium borate deposits in the world.
The Valjevo Borates project has the potential to supply between 10% and 15% of global demand for this strategically important mineral.
Geothermal Energy
Valjevo Energy is a project introducing hydrogeothermal energy into the district heating system of the city of Valjevo, with the goal of providing clean, more affordable, and locally available energy.
Through this initiative, Valjevo could significantly reduce pollution and become a national model of sustainable development in Serbia. The project offers tangible benefits for citizens, including healthier air, lower heating costs, and a more secure energy future.
