Adnan is an experienced leader with over 30 years of consulting and operational experience managing complex international projects across multiple industries, including environmental technologies and natural resources. Throughout his career in business process management, engineering, and high-tech industries, he has consistently championed solutions that are not only efficient but also environmentally responsible and sustainable.

As Vice President of Strategic Capital at one of Canada’s leading renewable energy companies, Adnan led initiatives focused on climate impact, capital project governance, and strategic development. His leadership contributed to major efficiency improvements and the safe, responsible execution of projects valued at hundreds of millions of dollars, including new production facilities and upgrades to existing infrastructure, delivering tangible benefits to local communities.

His commitment to sustainability began early in his career as an automation and control systems engineer, where he consistently promoted innovative technologies that minimize environmental impact, ensure responsible resource use, and reduce waste. He has contributed to award-winning projects that transformed major industrial challenges into commercially viable, environmentally sound solutions.

With extensive international experience, Adnan understands the importance of building strong, trust-based relationships with communities and key stakeholders. As a licensed professional engineer in Canada, he adheres to strict national standards in engineering, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria, specializing in industrial automation and robotics, as well as a diploma in Electronic Technology with a specialization in industrial automation and instrumentation from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
