Profit is important, but it must never be the sole objective. That is why we actively involve local communities as partners in our projects, ensuring that the benefits of natural resource development are shared and contribute to improving the quality of life. We design projects that not only respect nature, but also actively restore and strengthen it.
Within the Valjevo Borates project, in addition to applying the highest environmental protection standards, we plan to initiate the remediation and recultivation of inactive open-pit mining areas of the Kolubara Mining Basin, restoring degraded land and returning it to nature.
The Valjevo Energy project aims to reduce air pollution and protect the environment by introducing geothermal energy for heating residential and commercial buildings. This transition is expected to reduce the use of fossil fuels and wood, leading to cleaner air in Valjevo and the preservation of its forests - keeping them healthy, green, and protected.
Through the establishment of the Palkovsky Foundation, we further affirm this principle - creating value that serves the entire community.
Protect Nature, Because It Protects You
Humanity cannot exist without nature - but nature can exist without humanity. That is why we must protect it, because it protects us. In designing our projects, we consider every detail, even the smallest ones. We protect land, water, air, and biodiversity. We also develop ideas on how to further enhance and improve them. Our ambition is for our projects to become positive examples of responsible relationships with nature and its protection.
